CHILDREN'S EYE CARE
Children can have their eyes tested from less than a year old. They do NOT have to be able to read letters for us to check how well they can see. If there are eye problems in the family, the sooner your child is tested the better! If there is a problem, early intervention means much better sight as an adult. A child’s vision can change very quickly as they grow, and an eye test is as important as a dental check.
We work with the local hospital orthoptists in a scheme to check for reduced vision in reception age children.
Teens will find plenty of trendy specs and/or be fitted with contact lenses.
